Your Questions, Answered

  • I offer in person sessions in Katy, Texas and telehealth sessions for clients located anywhere in Texas. Virtual therapy can be just as effective as in person for many concerns and allows flexibility for busy families and working women.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a consultation call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and the depth of work you would like to do. Some clients come for short term, solution focused work around a specific issue. Others engage in longer term therapy to address trauma, identity shifts, relationship patterns, or anxiety. We will regularly assess progress and adjust as needed.

  • I am a private pay practice and do not accept insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out of network reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about out of network mental health benefits and reimbursement rates.

  • Yes. Parent involvement is an important part of child and adolescent therapy. Depending on your child’s age and presenting concerns, I incorporate parent check ins, skill building, and collaborative planning. My goal is to support the entire system so changes are reinforced outside of session while still protecting the child’s therapeutic space.

  • I am a Christian, and my faith deeply informs the way I see healing, identity, and restoration. That said, therapy is always tailored to the client. I do not impose beliefs, and there is no shaming, pressure, or agenda.

If faith is important to you and you would like it integrated into our work, we can thoughtfully incorporate prayer, scripture, spiritual processing, or exploration of faith wounds. If you prefer a clinically grounded approach without explicit faith integration, that is completely respected as well.

My role is to create a safe, compassionate space where your values guide the direction of treatment.

  • Clients often describe our work as structured but warm.

I will sit with you in the hard moments. I will help you name what feels confusing. I will offer language when you cannot find your own. And I will help you practice new ways of responding to yourself and others.

You do not have to have it all figured out before you walk in. That is what we do together.
